What do you get with 5 restaurant coasters, a bit of ribbon, Designer Paper and some punches? Well - a cute coaster gift box (or pencil holder). You could put goodies in a cello bag, tie with a matching ribbon & tag! I saw some of these coasters at the Dollarama in the kitchen stuff (5 for $1).
These are made of 4x4 medium weight coasters.
STEPS:
1-Add Berry Bliss Designer Paper with Stampin' Up!'s Glue Sticks pack of 2 (my favorite adhesive for chipboard).
2-Sand the edges with a Sanding Block.
3-Use the Crop-A-Dile to punch holes in the chipboard.
4-Then thread with Pretty in Pink Grosgrain Ribbon.
5-To glue the bottom coaster to the rest of them, you could use crazy glue or Crystal Effects
Here's a close up of the focal point on the box. It uses the 5 Petal & Boho Blossom Punches. Add a brad from the Soft Subtles Collection and it makes a cute flower. The corners are punched with the Ticket Corner Punch and paper piercing is added using a plain needle & the Paper-piercing template that comes in our Mat Pack. Don't forget, all the prices shown in the catalogue are before the 7% discount.
If you're wondering how the Red flower is made, well it's a punch technique with the 5-Petal Punch:
You punch it out once, take it & adhere with a small amount of adhesive on a plane white paper & then Align the 5-Petal Flower punch in the center of each of the petals & voilà!
See next picture below.
If you'd like to come over one night to make one of
these, get in touch with me to book a date & feel free to bring a friend! The cost would be $10 for the box, Tag, bag & card!

love it!
