Ribbon Share anyone???

I often hear Customers say they love Stampin'Up ribbons, but there's so many kinds & different colors, so it would cost too much to get them all!

Well I think it's time for a Ribbon Share! 

My first Ribbon share will feature our In Color 1/2'' Polka-Dot Ribbons

Stampin’ Up!’s grosgrain ribbon colors were selected to coordinate with our exclusive color palette. Our polka-dot grosgrain is a quick and inexpensive embellishment for your cards and gift bags, and comes in our exclusive In Color collection. (page 182)

■ 1/2" wide
■ Approximately 15 yards
■ Whisper White polka dots printed on one side; solid color on the other side
■ 100% polyester

So to be able to get all 6 colors, this is what you need to do...

You order 1 spool of ribbon from me by July 31st ($14.95 + shipping + taxes= $18.58) & another one by August 30th. A total of $37.16.  But if you can order the 2 spools at once, I will only charge you $35.

After the 1st order arrives, I will split all spools into 3 pieces of 5 yards (15yards/spool), so you will each receive 5 yards of 3 different colors and after the 2nd order, you'll get the other 3 colors.

There's no limit of participants, you just order your share & I'll do the rest! :-)

Email me if you'd like to participate, even if you live out-of-town, I'm sure it won't be alot to mail your share to you.

 

My next ribbon-share will be the 1/2'' Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, which comes in Bashful Blue, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Old Olive, Pretty in Pink & So Saffron!

          

New addition to our family!!!

I would like to introduce you all to Willy, our new pet!!! (named after Will Farrell!) haha!We bought him at Pet's Unlimited on July 6th & he makes us laugh everyday!  I never thought I'd get one of those scarry things, but now I'm glad we did, he is soooooo cute and our dog, Molly, is so good with him (and vise-versa!)

Correction to MANHATTAN FLOWER embossing folder 'insert'

July 9, 2009

There is an error on the insert for the Manhattan Flower Textured Impressions embossing folder (item 114517).

The insert instructs you to use Tab 2 on the multipurpose platform with this folder. This is incorrect. You need to use Tab 1 on the multipurpose platform with this folder. If you use Tab 2, your sandwich will be too thick to run through the Big Shot.

Please note that there is nothing wrong with the product itself; the error is on the insert only. The embossing folder will work properly when you use it with Tab 1.

We remind you that you don't need to use much pressure with Big Shot dies. When you insert a die into the Big Shot, the handle should turn slightly. If the handle doesn't move, or if you have to force the die through, your sandwich is too thick and you'll need to adjust it. Forcing a die through the Big Shot with too much pressure can damage your die or Big Shot and void your manufacturer's warranty.

2009-2010 Idea Book & Catalogue!!!!

Well guess what I found at my front step this morning?????? Yes, my Complimentary Catalogue & Oh my!!!!  Did you all know that from now on, Stampin'Up! is going back to the once a year Idea Book? Yup!  This is so much better for our Customers & for us Demonstrators!  But they will release mini-catalogues twice a year though, so that you can still get that 'wow' throughout the year! :-)

I also received my pre-purchased 'IN COLOR' package & LOVE the new colors!!! Being a Demo gets us alot of advantages & benefits, we can pre-order upcoming products & we usually get great savings on them too! So keep that in mind when you are looking for a home-based buisness of your own! 

Ok, so I decided to post my top 10 best items & features of this new book, so here it is!

My Top 10 list:

1. Color chart at the start is so much easier to see the colors, bigger!
2. The colors of the samples are just so nice, can't wait to make them!
3. That the 'Winter Post' stamp set is in it!!!!
4. Oh so many nice sets that I want 'again'!!!!
5. Did I say I LOVE the In-colors already??????? :-)
6. For the cats & dogs lovers out there...D is for Dog & C is for Cat stamp sets!!! yahoo! I'll be making scapbooking pages for Molly!!!!
7. The new 'Party Kits' for kids!!!
8. LOVE the new Designer Series Paper!!!! I won't ruin the surprise by telling you what kinds!
9. Remember those Fresh-cut Notes? Well, 2 more designs added & they are so elegant!!!
10. Well I only said I'd give my top 10, so it's hard to pick wich one will be last...so I'll go with hummm.....the accessories layout, 3 new punches & Big shot dies!!!! heehee! I cheated!!!

If you haven't reserved your copy of the new catalogue yet, you can let me know by sending me an email & you can pay at pick-up time!  I will receive 3 boxes of English & 2 boxes of French ones (8 in each), so I will sell them for $10 each (no shipping-no taxes).  Previous versions are still available & are $5 each. Best ever Simply Scrappin kit

Well, here are the 20 cards I made with the 'Best Ever' Scrappin' kit during my Weekend crop!  I must say, I didn't come up with the idea on my own, I found them on Splitcoaststampers.com from a       DSY LOU, she did a great job!

I do have one of these kits left, and you only need 1/2 the kit to make these 20 cards, plus some White cardstock, so if someone is interested in coming over one day to make them, let me know, I'd have 2 spots & if there's more interested, I might be able to get extra kits from another Demo.  This kit WAS on the 'Last Chance' list, but are now Sold-Out! 

The cost for this class is the same as our Stamp-a-Stack classes, which is $35 & includes all material needed to make the 20 cards & is all pre-cut plus, you will receive 20 enveloppes for them.

Kids birthday invitations with a treat!

Hard to believe that my baby is turning 9 next Friday (sniff-sniff!), but we had fun making her invitations for her party the other night, she's always loved monkeys, in fact, we call her our little Monkey!  I didn't have a mondkey stamp, so I just googled a picture & printed a bunch, we cut them out & sticked it to the brown scaloped square on the front & inside, we stamped the little cupcake from the 'Party Hearty' set along with the 'Voeux parfaits' set for the details of the party, she goes to a french school.  And we then finished with a lolipop in each of them.  So she couldn't wait to take them to her friends the next day!  Here's some pics, but they're not that good:
