Big Shot materials

Haitian Relief Update
February 5, 2010

Stampin′ Up! demonstrators are working hard to make a difference in the lives of those who continue to be affected by the January 12 earthquake in Haiti. In just fifteen days, demonstrators around the world have already sold 7524 of the stamp sets. From each of these sets, Stampin′ Up! will donate $2 to the Red Cross’ Haiti Relief and Development Fund.

Update...last day!! :-((

Wow! I can't believe this was our last night here, we had a really fun night, a supper at the beach with the whole Master's group, of 180 people!!!  There was also a live band on the beach, they played really good songs, I had a few rum punches & danced with some really nice people, who are now our friends!!! heehee!  We were so hot though, we decided to go change & go in the pool at midnight, with more drinks, and it felt good!!!  So now, I'm sitting at the computer in our room writing to you, because I didn't realize how fast the days went & never did updated my journey in here!!! It's a good sign though, means there was always great weather here, not one rainy day!

Oh, and lots & lots of Jewelry stores downtown St-Thomas!!! I've heard from a few people before I came, that this was the Spot for Gold jewelry, well they were right! Oh my, I surprised Rocky with my new wedding ring set!!!! haha! I think he started breathing again like 30 minutes later! lol Just kidding, he is such a sweetheart!  But really, I had always said that one day, I'd upgrade to a bigger stone, well I got to have it blessed at church now, to make me feel like it's a wedding ring, just doesn't feel right wearing it in that finger & have my original in my right hand! Oh, did I tell you? It used to be Gold, but I also had it dipped in White Gold (can't remember the real term of it), but yeah, I think that was the biggest shocker to Rocky! haha!

The food was sooooooooo good here all week, different restaurants on the resort, plus, Rocky & I got to take some of his customers out to fancy restaurants twice, and then last night, the owners took all of the employees & spouses on a surprise night, we went down to the dock & took a boat to a neighbor Island, called St-John's Island, and went to a very nice restaurant there, called ZoZo's!  We had some very good wine, I'm no wine expert, but one of the Owner knew his wine & was so impressed with the prices of their bottles, he was in his glory! lol  Rocky & I were actually at his table, so we got the honor of trying some very expensive ones, but again, we had no clue when it comes to wine, we just drink it! lol

All I can say is WOW! The Master group knows how to make us happy & knows how to show their appreciation to their Customers & Employees!! We love you guys!!! :-)

Well, it is now 2:30 am, this is the latest I"ve been up ALL week, I"m telling you, if I passed 11pm one night, I'm surprised, cause we had full days of fun, and when it came to the evenings, I was pooped right out, I did try a couple of times to sit here & do this, but was falling asleep at the desk! lol 

So we are leaving the resort at 2pm Saturday to go at the Airport & then staying at the Marriott in Montreal again Sat night,, but will be back home to the kids around lunch time, can't wait to see the 2 little monkeys!!! We do miss them, really, we do! haha!  So I'm heading to bed now & planning on getting up at 9am to pack our luggage, go have breakfast & stay at the pool until they kick us out!!! lol

Hello everyone!

I am sitting at the lobby at the Marriott in Montreal, we are leaving in the morning for the Virgin Islands!!!  I went to the first NHL game tonight, watched Montreal loose to Ottawa,,,boo-boo!!! lol  But it was so cool though!!!

So I will be heading to our room very soon, it is 12h30am here, was a long day!  I will be back sooner or later, I'm sure!!!

So now, with the new year started, I've been trying to find a better system, easier to keep track of, after so many online searches for ideas, I finally fell onto another Demonstrator's blog, and her name is Angie Juda.  I loved her program & her card, tried to make mine look like it, but I think she actually used her Digital Studio! I would like to take this opportunity to give her credit for a great blog & idea!  Check it out!

In case you're wondering what I'll be up to, we will be staying at my parents' on Christmas Eve in Nigadoo and then go spend Christmas day at my Grand-mother's house in Tracadie (my Mom's side),  it should be a fun day, because most of my aunts, uncles & cousins will be there.  My Grand-mother turned 91 this year, I missed  her birthday, so I am making sure I go see her for X-Mas, I miss her alot, she is so sweet! 

Well, I shall be back on the 25th or 26th.

Fortunately, our e-newsletter and e-cards still appear as intended in all major Internet browsers (i.e., Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari). Therefore, while we work on key updates to address the issue with Outlook, we suggest you encourage all of your customers and downlines who use Outlook to use the link at the bottom of the e-card or e-newsletter to view the message in their web browser (see image below).

 

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. While we have no control over Microsoft's development of new products, we will do everything we can to accommodate changes to their applications.

Starting with the new 2010 Occasions Mini Catalogue and continuing with all new punch designs going forward, Stampin' Up! has adopted a new body style for our punches!

A few features of the new punch style:

• Low-profile, rectangular punch body allows for easier stacking and storing
• Punches lock shut for easier storage and transport
• Dual labels on top and end allow for easy identification and selection when stored
• Available in three sizes: small, medium, and extra-large
• New punches allow for larger punched images and more intricate designs while providing greater ease of use.
  • Extra -large punch images also allow for two-step designs like the Two-Step Bird punch in the Occasions Mini Catalogue
• Corner punches allow you to punch a corner design along the inside edges of a page, not just corners
• larger, whole-hand handle design provides better leverage for easier use

Part of Stampin' Up!'s commitment to providing demonstrators and customers with the very best crafting tools includes the belief in what we call continuous improvement. Essentially what this means is that even if something works very well, but we see a chance to improve it, we will work to make it even better. While new punch designs will be in the new body style, existing designs will remain in the existing body style for now. We will communicate any further changes as those decisions are made.

We recommend that Demonstrators place your holiday orders by Tuesday, December 8, 2009, by 11:50 PM via OEX (MT Time) to receive your orders before Christmas. Delivery times will vary depending on where you live; if your personal experience indicates that it takes longer for packages to reach you, you will want to allow a little extra time for shipping during the holidays.

All orders we receive by December 8 will be picked, packaged, and delivered to our courier in plenty of time to arrive by December 24. But as you know, we cannot control delivery times; holiday mail volumes are high, and our delivery services encourage customers to ship as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Clothes are nice, and toys are too:  But is going to the mall something you want to do?

Save yourself the time you’d spend wrapping my gift – Joanne will do it for you, just order by December 5th!
